About World Food Day…and St. Louis World Food Day
World Food Day is a global day of awareness to commemorate the anniversary of the founding United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization. St. Louis World Food Day is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding of the challenge of global malnutrition and is taking immediate action to provide hunger relief for local and international communities facing critical food shortages.
On October 11, 2013, St. Louis World Food Day will need 1000+ ”Packaging Partners” to join us in packaging over 200,000 nutritious meals. This is the fourth year a World Food Day commemoration has been held in St. Louis and more than 1 million meals have been assembled!
